As a former member of the Military I have my fair share of experience of hotel stays. The Cabrera Hotel deserves every possible star possible, due mainly by the level of care expressed and felt by the owner and staff. Additionally, the level of comfort, in a more traditional sense, meets all standards of quality one would expect from any hotel stay. I cannot recommend this place enough, if you are in the market and area stay here; you will not be disappointed.
It's everything you can expect from a small town Motel/Hotel as it is NOT the typical chain cookie cutter same, same everything. It has charm, class & clean, clean, clean! Staff that really care because they are all family & friends to a small town community that want to keep it all simple & timeless now and for the years to come. May this be the sample start to a concerted community-movement of a rejuvenation, facelift & preservation of this gateway historical town initiated in 1895 established in 1904 and still well & alive in 2019.
If you want a quality hotel experience at a great price come here!!! Every one of the staff are friendly and very attentive to detail. Our family has stayed here and we couldnt of made a better choice. The rooms are quiant and quiet its made to get a good nights rest.
I gotta tell ya Mr.hector Cabrera is the most patient caring n helpful man I know .has a butiful wife who works her tail off on this place every day .he has three young men he calls his sons. (Jokin guys) Sammy Miguel and Ivan I believe. I was short handed one day and Hector told his son I needed help. He stayed with me past ten o'clock at night to get my footing dug by hand. Boy was a beast . but at same time respectful well mannered n really impressed me wish I had him every day these four work hard everyday as electricians well known electricians at that. This is not just a motel it's there home n I give them the utmost respect. Thanks guys
